(COLUMBIA, MO) ~ Columbia Police have made an arrest in connection with an armed robbery that occurred on January 15th. Donzale Gaines, 58, of Columbia, has been identified as the suspect and is facing charges of armed criminal action, first-degree robbery, and unlawful possession of a firearm.
According to authorities, the victim was in the 200 block of Allen Walkway when Gaines approached him with a firearm and demanded money before fleeing the scene. The incident took place at approximately 1:50 p.m.

After conducting a thorough investigation, Columbia Police were able to identify Gaines as the suspect and subsequently arrested him. They are urging anyone with additional information about this incident to come forward and contact the Columbia Police Department at 573.874.7652.
