~ On Friday morning, September 25, 2026, KC Water announced the cancellation of the precautionary boil water advisory for the area of 27th Street from McKinley to Stark Avenue. The advisory was put in place as a safety measure after a water main break occurred in the area.

According to KC Water staff, tap water samples were taken and tested to ensure the quality and safety of the water. The results of these tests have confirmed that the tap water in this area meets the high standards for public drinking water.
