(COLUMBIA, MO) ~ Columbia Police Detain Two Juveniles in Connection to Shots Fired on Trimble Road
On July 7 at approximately 4:55 p.m., Columbia police officers detained two juveniles in connection to shots fired on Trimble Road. According to reports, one juvenile was detained for first-degree assault, unlawful use of a weapon, endangering the welfare of a child, and armed criminal action. The second juvenile was detained for juvenile delinquency and tampering with physical evidence.

Both juveniles have been referred to the Boone County Juvenile Office. The incident occurred on July 6 at around 6:55 p.m. when Columbia Police responded to reports of shots fired in the 2600 block of Trimble Road. Witnesses stated that shots had been fired, but no injuries or property damage were reported.
The investigation is ongoing and anyone with information is urged to contact the Columbia Police Department at 573.874.7652. Those who wish to remain anonymous can provide information through CrimeStoppers at 573.875.TIPS (8477). The case number for this incident is 2024-005709.
