(COLUMBIA, MO) ~ Columbia Police have arrested 35-year-old Whitney Nevels-McKee of Columbia in connection to the May 24 incident on Conley Road. Nevels-McKee is facing multiple charges, including second-degree kidnapping, vehicle hijacking, assault, terrorist threat, and possession of a stolen firearm.

According to police reports, officers initially responded to a call about shots fired at around 5:20 p.m. Upon arrival at the scene, they took Nevels-McKee into custody. Two victims were present at the scene but did not sustain any injuries.

The investigation is still ongoing and anyone with information about the incident is urged to contact the Columbia Police Department or CrimeStoppers to remain anonymous. The case number for this incident is 2024-004386.

This arrest comes after a previous press release from the Columbia Police Department regarding the shots fired on Conley Road on May 24. The department continues to work diligently to ensure the safety of its citizens and bring justice to those responsible for such crimes.
