UPDATE: Carjacking suspect taken into custody in Iowa.

Springfield, Mo. – Springfield Police Department is asking for help identifying a male who is a suspect in a carjacking (SPD #22-13646) on April 30, 2022, at Kum & Go at 2161 E. Republic Road. The stolen vehicle is a dark blue 2011 Chevy Impala that was displaying Missouri License Plate GE2D3G. The license plate has possibly been removed, but stickers on the rear window are still in place. The vehicle also has a very large dent in the driver-side rear door.
