~ Starting on Monday, October 13, the Springfield Police Department HQ lobby and the Springfield-Greene County Health Department (SGCHD) will be undergoing construction on the roof. As a result, the driveway from Chestnut Expressway that provides access to these buildings, as well as the parking area to the west of the Police Department, will be closed.
According to officials, the construction is expected to be completed by Wednesday, October 15. During this time, temporary ADA-accessible parking spaces will be available in addition to visitor parking in the parking lot located north of SGCHD. This will allow visitors to still have access to both the Health Department and Police Department.
