~ Journalist: The City of Springfield Planning & Development department, in collaboration with Urban3, is inviting media representatives to a special preview session prior to Joe Minicozzi's presentation on "The Economics of Urban Design Part 2" at the Springfield Art Museum on February 29th. The preview session will be held via Zoom at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, February 27th in the 2 West Conference Room at the Busch Municipal Building.

According to Cora Scott, spokesperson for the City of Springfield, media representatives who are unable to attend in person can request a Zoom link by contacting her at 417-380-3352. This preview session aims to provide journalists with an exclusive look into Minicozzi's upcoming presentation and allow them to gather information for their coverage.

Minicozzi, who founded Urban3, is known for his expertise in explaining and visualizing market dynamics created by tax and land use policies. He describes himself as an urban planner with a passion for reimagining land use, urban design, and economics. Prior to his move to Asheville, Minicozzi served as the primary administrator of the Form-Based Code for downtown West Palm Beach, Florida. He is also a founding member of the Asheville Design Center, a non-profit organization dedicated to creating livable communities across Western North Carolina.

This upcoming presentation promises to be just as informative and thought-provoking as its predecessor.
