Springfield, Mo. ~ Springfield Police Department Seeks Public's Help in Identifying Suspect Vehicle and Driver Involved in Hit-and-Run Crash

The Springfield Police Department is reaching out to the public for assistance in identifying the driver of a suspect vehicle that fled the scene of a hit-and-run crash on April 7, 2025. The incident occurred at approximately 8:34 p.m. at the intersection of Broadway Avenue and Mt. Vernon Street.

According to officers, a white Dodge Durango traveling eastbound collided with a northbound motorcycle in the intersection before fleeing the scene. The motorcycle rider sustained serious injuries and was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment.

The suspect vehicle, which has front-end damage and no license plates, is still at large. In addition, investigators are seeking to speak with a man who may have information about the incident.
