Springfield, Mo. ~ Springfield Police Department Seeks Public's Help in Identifying Suspect Vehicle and Driver Involved in Hit-and-Run Crash
The Springfield Police Department is reaching out to the public for assistance in identifying the driver of a suspect vehicle that fled the scene of a hit-and-run crash on April 7, 2025. The incident occurred at approximately 8:34 p.m. at the intersection of Broadway Avenue and Mt. Vernon Street.
According to officers, a white Dodge Durango traveling eastbound collided with a northbound motorcycle in the intersection before fleeing the scene. The motorcycle rider sustained serious injuries and was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment.

The suspect vehicle, which has front-end damage and no license plates, is still at large. In addition, investigators are seeking to speak with a man who may have information about the incident.
Anyone with information regarding the owner of the Dodge Durango or the identity of the man is urged to contact the Springfield Police Department at 417-864-1758. Alternatively, individuals can make an anonymous report by calling Crime Stoppers at 417-869-TIPS (8477) or submitting information online at p3tips.com.
