Springfield, Mo. ~ Springfield Police Department is seeking the public's help in identifying a man who attempted to carjack a victim at Braum's on W. Republic Rd. on May 16, 2024. According to reports, the incident occurred at 6:30 p.m. when the suspect approached the victim with a firearm and demanded their keys. The victim was able to escape and call 911 for assistance.
The Springfield Police Department has released several images of the suspect in hopes that someone may recognize him. They are urging anyone with information about his identity to contact them at 417-874-1755 or make an anonymous call to Crime Stoppers at 417-869-TIPS (8477). Tips can also be submitted online at p3tips.com.
