~ Springfield police officers were called to Zales, located inside the Battlefield Mall, on June 19 at approximately 8:19 p.m. for a reported robbery. According to authorities, two male suspects entered the store and demanded jewelry from two female employees. The suspects claimed to have a gun but did not display a weapon. Fortunately, there were no customers in the store at the time and no one was injured.

The suspects were described as skinny black males in their early twenties, with one of them having tattoos on his neck. They left the store with a large amount of jewelry and have not yet been located. The Springfield Police Department is currently investigating the incident and is asking anyone with information to contact them at 417-864-1810.

Photos taken from surveillance footage show the two suspects inside the store during the robbery. The investigation is ongoing as authorities work to identify and locate the suspects responsible for this crime.
