Springfield, Mo. ~ On the early morning of October 13, 2024, a disturbance at the Heer's Parking Garage in Springfield, Missouri resulted in multiple people being shot. At approximately 2:12 a.m., Springfield police officers were dispatched to the scene at 230 N. Campbell Ave.
Upon arrival, officers discovered two men with gunshot wounds inside a vehicle at the intersection of McDaniel Street and Campbell Avenue. Another man with gunshot wounds was found at the intersection of Olive Street and Campbell Avenue. All three victims were immediately transported to local hospitals for treatment.
Sadly, one of the men, identified as 18-year-old Klayton Hagan from Springfield, did not survive his injuries and was pronounced dead at the hospital. His family has been notified of his passing.

According to the Springfield Police Department Homicide Detectives, all parties involved in this incident have been identified and located. However, no arrests have been made as the investigation is still ongoing.
Once the investigation is complete, all evidence will be forwarded to the Greene County Prosecutor's Office for review. A decision will then be made regarding potential criminal charges.
In an effort to gather more information about this tragic event, detectives are urging anyone with additional information to come forward and contact the Springfield Police Department at 417-864-1810 or make an anonymous call to Crime Stoppers at 417-869-TIPS (8477) or online at p3tips.com.
This marks Springfield's 11th homicide investigation of 2024 and brings the total number of victims for the year to 13. The community is urged to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity to authorities.
