~ On July 26, 2018, the Springfield Police Department made significant progress in the sexual assault case that occurred near John Q. Hammons Parkway and Harrison Street on July 25, 2018. After thorough investigation, Springfield Police Detectives were able to confirm the identity of the suspect as 21-year-old Kyal Millentree. Thanks to the quick response and assistance from the public, patrol officers were able to locate and arrest Millentree later that afternoon. He was then booked into Greene County Jail and charges for 2nd Degree Sexual Abuse were submitted to the Greene County Prosecutors Office. The Springfield Police Department would like to thank the community for their cooperation in this case.
