~ Springfield Housing Authority Holds Public Hearing for Proposed Issuance of Housing Revenue Bonds
On Wednesday, January 29, 2025, the Housing Authority of the City of Springfield, Missouri (the "Authority") will hold a public hearing at their offices located at 421 W. Madison St., Springfield, Missouri. The hearing will commence at 11 a.m. and is regarding the proposed issuance of housing revenue bonds by the Authority.
The bonds, which will be issued in one or more series, have an aggregate maximum principal amount not to exceed $16,000,000. The purpose of these bonds is to finance a portion of the costs associated with acquiring and rehabilitating an approximately 142-unit qualified residential rental project under Section 142 of the Internal Revenue Code. This project is located at 525 S. Campbell Avenue in Springfield and is currently known as Stillwell Columns Apartments. It will be renamed Pinnacle on the Park upon completion. The owner and operator of this project will be Pinnacle on the Park, L.P., a Missouri limited partnership.

The proposed project is situated on land bordered by West Elm Street to the north, West Mt. Vernon Street to the south, South Campbell Avenue to the east, and South Market Avenue to the west. The public hearing will provide an opportunity for interested individuals to express their views on various aspects of the project including its location and nature as well as the issuance of bonds to cover its costs.
Written comments regarding the project can also be submitted prior to the hearing to Katie Anderson, CEO/Executive Director of the Housing Authority of Springfield at their address listed above. Additional information about the proposed project and bonds can also be obtained from Ms. Anderson.
The Authority welcomes all members of the public to attend this hearing and participate in discussions about this important project for our community. They also make reasonable accommodations for individuals with disabilities who may need assistance in participating in public meetings. Those in need of accommodations are asked to contact the Authority at least five days prior to the hearing to allow for adequate arrangements to be made.
The public hearing is scheduled for January 29, 2025, and is open to all interested parties.
