Springfield, Mo. ~ On the evening of November 7, 2025, a tragic two-vehicle crash occurred at the intersection of Campbell Avenue and Buena Vista Street in Springfield, Missouri. According to reports from the Springfield Police Department, officers responded to the scene at 10:27 p.m.
The crash involved a 2016 Toyota Camry driven by 32-year-old Colby Wickwar and a 2024 Honda motorcycle ridden by 20-year-old Colin McEntire, both residents of Springfield. Wickwar was traveling southbound on Campbell when he attempted to turn left onto Buena Vista, directly into the path of McEntire's motorcycle. The collision resulted in McEntire being thrown from his bike.

Despite wearing a helmet, McEntire sustained fatal injuries and was transported to the hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries. His family has been notified of his tragic death.
Wickwar was arrested at the scene and taken to Greene County Jail on charges of driving while intoxicated. The case has been handed over to the Greene County Prosecutor's Office for further review.
The details surrounding the crash are still under investigation and anyone with information is urged to contact the Springfield Police Department or make an anonymous tip through Crime Stoppers.
