The Springfield Police Department is reaching out to the community for assistance in locating a missing person. Joseph D. Sparks, a 38-year-old white male, was last seen on the evening of Monday, January 24, 2022 at the Veterans Coming Home Center on 806 N. Jefferson Ave.
According to authorities, Sparks is 5'10" tall and weighs 185 lbs. He has brown eyes and brown hair, which is currently shaved. He also has sleeve tattoos on both arms. It is important to note that Sparks suffers from a diagnosed mental illness.

The police are urging anyone with information about his whereabouts to contact them immediately at 417-864-1810 or call 911. Alternatively, anonymous tips can be submitted to Crime Stoppers at 417-869-TIPS (8477).
