The Springfield Police Department has issued a plea to the public for help in locating an endangered missing person. Shiela J. White, 58 years old, was last seen at the Myers Medical Center where she was receiving medical treatment for a potentially life-threatening condition. She is described as 5-foot-6 and 248 pounds with light brown hair and brown eyes. At the time of her disappearance, she was wearing a red shirt and green leggings.

According to authorities, Shiela White checked herself out of the medical center under duress and left with her husband, Chris White. Chris White, 39 years old, is described as 6-foot and 176 pounds with blue eyes, brown hair, and a beard.

The couple was last seen driving a silver Chevy Envoy with Missouri license plate LE3G6Z. The vehicle was spotted at approximately 8 p.m., pulling a boat near Nichols Ave. and West Ave.
