MOMulch is made from chipped and ground wood waste collected at the City of Springfield's Yardwaste Recycling Center. The mulch undergoes a specialized process to ensure a consistent texture and size. According to Dan Jessen, Environmental Services Superintendent of Solid Waste, this mulch is not only high quality but also has environmental benefits.
"MoMulch is created with yardwaste collected from our community," says Jessen. "It's processed into high quality mulch that helps maintain healthy soil while giving organic waste a second life."
