~ The finalists for the second Great Route 66 Talent Search have been announced and are set to take the stage at the Historic Shrine Mosque in Springfield on Saturday, August 10th. The show, which begins at 1 p.m., will feature performances from some of the most talented individuals in the Ozarks.
Among the performers are Jessie Cowen and 417 Aerial, who will kick off the show with their own unique act. But all eyes will be on the top two winners of Saturday's finals in both the amateur and professional categories. These winners will receive a coveted front-of-the-line pass to audition for NBC's hit show America's Got Talent via video submission.
Last year's winners, Brecka Henderson and Vic Vaughan, have yet to schedule their auditions but producers from AGT have been in contact with festival organizers. The popular television show holds auditions all across the country during the summer months, making it a highly sought-after opportunity for aspiring performers.
