Springfield, Mo. ~ Springfield Police Department Seeks Public's Help in Locating Missing Juvenile
The Springfield Police Department has issued a plea for assistance from the public in locating a missing juvenile. Sophiea Stapp, an 11-year-old girl, was last seen on July 8 at 10 p.m. at a residence in the 2200 block of N. Golden. The police were notified of her disappearance on July 9 at 7:30 p.m. and have since launched an investigation.

Stapp is described as being 5'0" tall and weighing 105 pounds with blonde hair that may be dyed red. According to statements made by Stapp, she had expressed intentions of running away. This, along with other statements, has raised concerns for her emotional and physical well-being.
Authorities are urging anyone with information on Stapp's whereabouts to contact 911 immediately. Alternatively, anonymous tips can be submitted to Crime Stoppers at 417-869-TIPS (8477) or online at p3tips.com.
