~ The City of Springfield has announced that they will be hosting a Public Information Session on Thursday, May 16 at Victory Mission to discuss the Historic Jefferson Avenue Footbridge Rehabilitation Project. This session will take place from 5-6 p.m. and will provide an opportunity for Commercial Street stakeholders and interested members of the public to review rehabilitation options and discuss next steps.

For those who are unable to attend, a video recording of the meeting will be made available on the City's project webpage at springfieldmo.gov/footbridge. Additionally, an update on the rehabilitation project is expected to be presented during a regular Public Works overview Council Lunch presentation on Tuesday, May 21 at 11:30 a.m.
The City recently completed a bid process for this project and is now seeking input from stakeholders and members of the public before moving forward. This information session aims to keep the community informed and involved in the decision-making process.
