KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Missouriar -- Qikfinger Films' new sci-fi drama, HOMEPLANET, will premiere at two theaters this September in both Kansas City and Napoleon, MO where the film was shot last October.
"Napoleon really embraced HomePlanet. Great folks, great movie fans, everyone from the City Council to residents allowed us to use Napoleon's streets and venues sometimes late into the night," said the film's Director, Andrew Pritzker, "Beautiful farms, friendly folks, small town Main Street USA, Napoleon is a gem. We're hoping to shoot there again."
Produced with a stellar Kansas City cast and crew, HOMEPLANET, is a contemporary drama about a lost soul finding his way home. "It's classic sci-fi," said the Director, "But with a melancholy sweetness and humor that we hope resonates with an audience. It's about belonging and family."

With an talented ensemble cast featuring Dan Daly, Scott Cordes, Jamie Campbell, Michelle Daugharthy, Robert Coppage III, Dawn Linneman, Casey Jane, and Emery Daugharthy, HOMEPLANET was lensed by noted Cinematographer Lucas Falco Cohen, Edited in Orlando by JJ Johnson, and scored by LA Film Composer Daniel Stein. With the film's signature poster designed by Italian Graphic Artist, Clara Barbeito, HOMEPLANET takes on an international flair.
After its dual theatrical screenings, HOMEPLANET will rocket onto the festival circuit and later be released as part of an anthology series featuring Qikfinger Films other releases, Devil's Food Cake and E.P.G..
