ST. LOUIS, June 9, 2025 ~ Ross & Squibb Distillery has announced the release of their highly anticipated 2025 Remus Babe Ruth Reserve, the latest addition to their award-winning Remus Bourbon line. This ultra-limited edition whiskey pays tribute to the legendary Babe Ruth and his impact on America's pastime.
With only 8,399 bottles available, one for each of the Babe's at-bats, this collector's release is sure to be in high demand among baseball fans and bourbon enthusiasts alike. Priced at a minimum suggested price of $149.99 per 750mL bottle, it is a unique and memorable way to celebrate both the sport and its most iconic player.
"We're honored to pay homage to one of baseball's icons with our latest collector's release of Remus Babe Ruth Reserve," said Ian Stirsman, master distiller at Ross & Squibb Distillery. "Our 2025 edition is masterfully crafted and is sure to give baseball fans and high-rye bourbon lovers a unique and memorable way to celebrate America's pastime and its most legendary player."
The 2025 edition of Remus Babe Ruth Reserve features a blend of three high-rye bourbon mash bills, each inspired by Ruth's jersey number #3. These specially selected barrels were distilled in 2016 and 2017, with rye percentages ranging from 36% to 49%. The result is a testament to the distillery's expertise in crafting and blending rye bourbons. At 111 proof (55.5% ABV), this whiskey offers a complex taste profile with notes of brown sugar, cinnamon, figs, nutmeg, toasted marshmallow, oak, leather, and baking spices.

"Babe Ruth is synonymous with excellence, and Remus upholds this standard with each uniquely presented bottle," he said. "We are confident that collectors and baseball fans alike will conclude that Remus hit another home run with this special release. Babe would be proud."
The 2025 edition of Remus Babe Ruth Reserve is presented in an ornate rectangular art deco-inspired glass bottle, featuring an embossed baseball-diamond pattern and a unique baseball bat knob wooden-cork closure. The front and back labels pay homage to Ruth's iconic signature, pinstripes, and elements of a baseball diamond.
