FENTON, Mo. - Missouriar -- Patriot Heating, Cooling and Air Quality, a family-owned provider of residential and commercial HVAC services in St. Louis County, recently acquired Morgner Inc. The acquisition unites two dedicated local service teams, preserving Morgner's legacy of customer service while bringing enhanced technology and training to the Webster Groves and Kirkwood communities.
For over 61 years, Morgner Inc. has been a trusted name for the historic homes in the Webster Groves area. As one of Morgner's co-owners were ready to move on to their next chapters, this acquisition provided a natural transition, allowing two of the original partners to remain active in the business under the Patriot brand. To optimize efficiency and reduce overhead costs, the former Morgner location in Webster Groves will close. All dispatch and operations will now be centralized out of Patriot's Fenton headquarters. Despite this operational shift, Patriot remains fully committed to providing uninterrupted, premier HVAC service to all current and future customers throughout Webster Groves and Kirkwood.

The acquisition marks a major milestone for Patriot's founders, Craig Denton, and his son Shawn Denton. Craig is a veteran of the St. Louis HVAC industry who previously built one of the region's most successful home service brands, Denton had retired to Florida. However, the birth of his first grandchild brought him and his wife back to St. Louis. Realizing his true passion was working alongside his family, Denton launched Patriot one year ago with his sons Shawn, Kevin and Logan combining decades of industry expertise with a fresh, family-first approach.
"Morgner has taken great care of the Webster Groves and Kirkwood communities for over 61 years. They want to see the business and customers go to someone who will take care of them like family, like they have done for generations.," said Craig Denton, Co-founder of Patriot Heating, Cooling and Air Quality. "We are honored they are trusting us to carry the torch."
During this transition, customers will experience uninterrupted service. Former Morgner Inc. clients will now have full access to Patriot's 24/7 heating and AC repair service, specialty indoor air quality solutions, and commercial HVAC services.
