~ The Kansas City Aviation Department (KCAD) and the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) are inviting the public to provide input on the scope, alternatives, and analysis to be included in the Environmental Assessment (EA) for the Proposed Solar Facility Project at Kansas City International Airport. The EA will study the environmental impacts of the proposed solar facility development.
The Public Scoping Open House will be held from 4-6 p.m. on Thursday, December 7, 2023 at the KCAD Administrative Office Building located at 601 Brasilia Ave, Kansas City, MO 64153. Those who need assistance with language or accessibility should leave a message at 816-648-1542. The public has until December 21, 2023 to submit comments either in person or by mail or email.
