(Kansas City, Mo.) – KC Water seeks the public's help in refraining from bringing certain hazardous household waste (HHW) materials to the HHW facility located at 4707 Deramus Avenue. Due to a shortage of processing capacity at incineration facilities across the country, KC Water asks that customers do not bring the following items until further notice:
KC Water will continue to accept automotive products, antifreeze, batteries, CFL light bulbs and paint. We apologize for the inconvenience and will update the public as soon as information becomes available.
