SEWELL, N.J. & BLACKWOOD, N.J. - Missouriar -- The process to appear on a ballot is as simple as obtaining 50 signatures from party residents on a petition and turning it in to the town clerk. But in OHanlon's case, Deputy Clerk, Barbara Moore, denied the petition for several unfounded reasons.
After appearing before Judge Telsey, it quickly became apparent today's hearing was not about OHanlon's residency rather it was about a scheduling conflict. Judge Telsey stated OHanlon will not appear on the Democratic Primary ballot due to the time constraints of reprinting ballots. Even though both the campaign and OHanlon's legal team immediately notified the clerk of their intent to challenge their findings, the county immediately proceeded to print the ballots without OHanlon's name.
OHanlon's petition included signature from over 50 democrats, also had signatures of republicans and independents all of whom which had insisted on signing because they believed in OHanlon's platform of cleaning up the Black Horse Pike.

Residents of Washington Township flooded the OHanlon campaign with calls asking OHanlon to runs as independent. In a move similar to Robert Kennedy, OHanlon assured his supporters he will run as an independent. There are over 6,000 independents in Washington Township of which OHanlon has vowed to knock on every door until November. However, OHanlon said, "Do not be surprised if Judge Telsey removes me from the ballot again, as today wasn't a fair hearing."
OHanlon clarified, "Normally I wouldn't have considered running as an independent, however in 2024 the people of this nation has showed its fed-up with the political circus the Trump – Biden race has bestowed upon us. There is an air of dissent running throughout this country, and it's not the system rather it's the people running it. Somehow the worst people in our society have been attracted to government positions. Ciaella, Moore and Burns are a prime example of that."
OHanlon, a self-proclaimed workaholic stated he will have the signatures on his independent petition in the first week of May.
