PITTSBURGH, Nov. 14, 2023 ~ An inventor from Kansas City, Missouri has created a system to help drivers maintain safe following distances. The PROXIMITY SWITCH is designed to automatically warn a driver to back off if they are too close to the vehicle in front of them. This invention provides an improved way to warn motorists when following too closely behind another vehicle, as an alternative to relying entirely upon brake lights and personal judgment.
