Kansas City event part of a North American effort by GreenEarth Cleaning to reduce textile waste and support local communities.
KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Missouriar -- In celebration of Earth Day, GreenEarth Cleaning, the only environmentally non-toxic dry cleaning system headquartered in Kansas City, is once again partnering with Kansas City Bier Co. for their Annual Earth Day Clothing Drive, taking place Tuesday, April 22 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at KC Bier Co.'s Waldo location.
This event is part of a larger initiative supported by GreenEarth Cleaning, which equips its Affiliates across North America with the tools and guidance to host Earth Day drives in their own communities. The goal: reduce textile waste and support local nonprofit partners.
Kansas City attendees are encouraged to bring gently used clothing, shoes, and accessories. In exchange, GreenEarth Cleaning will provide a token for a complimentary pour at Kansas City Bier Co.
In addition, Kansas City Bier Co. will donate $1 for every full pour sold during the event to Big Brothers Big Sisters of Kansas City, helping fund impactful mentorship programs for local youth.

"Over 11 million tons of textile waste end up in landfills each year," said August Garcia, Marketing Director at GreenEarth Cleaning. "Our patented cleaning system is designed to extend the life of garments. This Earth Day, we're extending that mission by encouraging the community to give clothing a second life while supporting a great cause."
Last year, the Kansas City event alone collected more than 1,500 pounds of clothing, contributing to a network-wide total exceeding 5,500 pounds across all participating GreenEarth Affiliates.
The event also features giveaways, a kids' planting station, and a welcoming, family-friendly atmosphere.
