Frank Metayer Brings Over a Decade of Expertise in Legal Document Authentication to Serve Chula Vista's Community
CHULA VISTA, Calif. & SAN DIEGO - Missouriar -- Frank Metayer has been officially appointed as a Commissioner to the Board of Appeals and Advisors for the City of Chula Vista. In this role, Metayer will work closely with city officials to provide critical guidance on matters related to building construction and public safety. The Board serves as an appellate body, reviewing decisions related to building codes and public nuisances to ensure fair enforcement within the community. Metayer's term will run through June 30, 2028.
With over 10 years of experience in legal document authentication, including FBI Background Checks and Apostille services, as well as serving as a former board member of the YMCA of La Mesa—an organization that serves over 5,000 individuals annually with comprehensive fitness and wellness programs—Metayer brings a wealth of expertise to this position. His dedication to public service and legal knowledge will greatly benefit the city's regulatory and safety efforts.

Frank Metayer is a dedicated family man who has been married for over 19 years to his wife, a nurse practitioner. Together, they founded Mercy Healthcare Services LLC, a healthcare agency licensed by the California Department of Health, as well as the Haitian Foundation of America, a nonprofit dedicated to helping Haitian immigrants. Metayer is a proud father of three and a grandfather. His oldest daughter earned her Bachelor's Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies with an emphasis in education and natural science and is now married with a child. His 12-year-old son plays elite soccer, and his 13-year-old daughter is a competitive dancer, both based in Chula Vista.
