SAN FRANCISCO - Missouriar -- University Games announced the release of two exciting new additions to its award-winning game lineup: Fatal FOMO, an innovative new entry in the bestselling Murder Mystery Party brand, and Dicecapades, the beloved dice-powered challenge game reimagined for a new generation of players.
Fatal FOMO has a unique element that has never been used in a game before: players compete to identify the victim instead of trying to catch the murderer. "This innovative twist is perfectly aligned with what people are watching on TV and reading in books," remarked the game's inventor and University Games president, Bob Moog. "It's time to focus on the victims of pretend murders rather than the murderers." The game also includes multiple plays versus other single-play murder mysteries.
University Games is also launching an updated 4th edition of the classic family game Dicecapades, just in time for the game's 20th anniversary. On every turn, players use combinations of the 50 dice included in the game to overcome physical and mental challenges. Can they build a stack with the smallest dice on the bottom and the largest on the top? How about if they have to do that on another player's forearm? Can they use the letter dice to form words or pick the right color numbered dice with their eyes closed? With 200 challenge cards and 300 questions, Dicecapades is a wildly entertaining mix of dice rolling, physical feats, creative tasks, and brain-teasing trivia that engages players' minds and bodies.
