ST. LOUIS, Jan. 30, 2024 ~ Enterprise Mobility, the world's leading car rental business, continues its global expansion with the opening of new branches in Chile, the U.S. Virgin Islands, and the Cayman Islands. This expansion will provide more vehicle rental and mobility options for both business and leisure travelers in Latin America and the Caribbean.

The first Enterprise Rent-A-Car branches in Chile have opened today through franchise partner Mediterraneo Automotores S.A., a part of Circulo Autos. Circulo Autos is a family-owned holding company with over 30 years of experience in the mobility industry, operating 18 locations across four cities in Chile. The franchise expansion plans include introducing services to additional airports in Chile and adding branches in major city centers.

According to Paulo Rodriguez, AVP of Global Franchising – Latin America and the Caribbean at Enterprise Mobility, Circulo's robust infrastructure provides an excellent foundation for future growth and expansion. He stated that this move into Chile is an important part of their global growth plan to ensure customers have access to their brands no matter where they travel.

This opening is just one of many recent franchise openings across the region. Last month, Enterprise, National, and Alamo branches were introduced for the first time ever in the U.S. Virgin Islands. The business plans to open more franchise branches on the other two main islands of St. Croix and St. John after establishing its first location at Cyril E. King Airport in St. Thomas.

In addition to this, a new branch servicing Owen Roberts International Airport in Grand Cayman has been established to complement the National and Alamo branches already in operation on the island. Future plans include a tri-branded airport location featuring Enterprise, National, and Alamo that will service Virgin Gorda Island in the British Virgin Islands.
