KANSAS CITY, Mo., July 31, 2024 ~ CRB, a leading design and construction firm, has announced the appointment of Wade Shelden as their new Vice President of Design and Construction Operations. With over 30 years of experience in construction project management and integrated project delivery, Shelden has played a crucial role in the success of many of the company's most impactful projects.
Based in CRB's Cary, N.C. office, Shelden will be responsible for supporting the company's U.S.-based design and construction operations. He will also engage with key clients, provide guidance and support for critical projects, and oversee project management, project controls, procurement, and field operations. By bringing these functions together under one leader, CRB aims to consistently leverage best practices and execution strategies across the business.
John Pignataro, CRB's Vice President of Project Operations and Risk, expressed his confidence in Shelden's abilities by stating that he has extensive expertise in project delivery within the life sciences industry. Pignataro also highlighted Shelden's diverse experience as an executive, owner's representative, general contractor, and engineering procurement and construction management (EPCM) program manager.

In his previous role as CRB's ONEsolution director for the Southeast Region, Shelden was instrumental in delivering operational excellence through teamwork, integrated project delivery, and lean design and construction practices. His impressive resume at CRB includes managing numerous large-scale design-build and EPCM projects in the biopharma and animal health sectors.
