(COLUMBIA, MO) ~ Columbia, MO - The City of Columbia has launched a new initiative called Community Classroom, aimed at promoting engagement and communication between residents and city officials. The series of interactive sessions will cover various topics related to city services and departments.

The first session, scheduled for Tuesday, September 30th, will focus on alternative modes of transportation within the city. This includes the City's free bus system, Go COMO, which offers seven different routes as well as special routes on days of University of Missouri football games. Additionally, the presentation will highlight the city's network of trails that spans 62 miles.

Residents are invited to attend either the noon to 1 p.m. session or the 5:30-6:30 p.m. session at Conference Rooms 1A/1B in City Hall. Both sessions will cover the same content in order to accommodate more participants. To ensure enough refreshments are available, attendees are asked to register at https://forms.gle/GSMw6DFH6FutfUSC9.
