(COLUMBIA, MO) ~ A deputy with the Boone County Sheriff's Office made a significant arrest on April 13 in relation to a shooting that occurred on Maguire Boulevard just two days prior. The traffic stop, which took place at approximately 12:35 p.m. in the area of West Canada Street and South Wentz Street in Sturgeon, was initiated after receiving a be on the lookout (BOLO) alert.

The deputy arrested 20-year-old Jadon Grant Gooldy of Columbia during the traffic stop. Gooldy is facing charges of first degree assault, fourth degree assault, unlawful use of a weapon, and armed criminal action in connection to the shooting on Maguire Boulevard.
