(COLUMBIA, MO) -

Alexzander Scott Green, 25, of St. Joseph, Mo. was arrested for first-degree terroristic threat, first-degree stalking, and second-degree child endangerment.

Green was arrested by local police in Atchison, Kan. for charges related to a bomb threat made at the KinderCare Child Center in the 2400 block of West Ash Street on May 17.

On May 17 at approximately 12:20 p.m. Columbia Police were made aware of a bomb threat at Columbia's KinderCare Child Center. Children and staff were evacuated to a nearby building, and parents were made aware of the situation.

The Mid-Missouri Bomb Squad was called in to investigate the threat, along with bomb-sniffing dogs from the University of Missouri Police Department and the Capitol Police in Jefferson City. After thoroughly investigating the premises, the building was declared safe.

The investigation led Columbia Police to identify Green as the suspect. Further investigation indicated that Green was possibly located in Atchison.

After Columbia Police reached out to the Atchison Police Department for assistance in locating Green, Atchison Police successfully located and arrested him without incident.
