(COLUMBIA, MO) ~ Columbia's Stormwater Utility has announced the closure of Timberhill Road to through traffic at the intersection with Timberhill Street, starting at 8 a.m. on Monday, Aug. 5. The closure is necessary as crews work to replace a stormwater culvert and is expected to last until 3:30 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 9.

During this time, access to Timberhill Road will still be available via Cinnamon Hill Drive and Cinnamon Ridge Road. However, the gate where Cinnamon Ridge Road turns into Timberhill Road will remain open.

To ensure the safety of motorists, pedestrians, and nonmotorized transportation users, barricades and signs will be in place to redirect traffic around the closure. The public is advised to exercise caution when traveling near the work zone or consider taking alternate routes.
