- Columbia: Lane closure scheduled on Broadway at Providence June 16
(COLUMBIA, MO) ~ Columbia's Public Works street crews will be busy this week as they begin road work on Sussex Drive. The construction is set to start at 7 a.m. on Tuesday, June 25 and will continue until Wednesday, June 26. The purpose of the project is to replace deteriorated concrete slabs on Sussex Drive.
During the construction period, which will last for two days, a section of Sussex Drive near its intersection with Scott Boulevard will be fully closed. This means that drivers will not be able to make turns between Sussex Drive and Scott Boulevard. To help residents plan their routes accordingly, message boards have been placed on Scott Boulevard to notify them of the upcoming road closure.
