(COLUMBIA, MO) ~ Columbia, Missouri has been officially recognized as a Missouri Blue Shield community by the Missouri Department of Public Safety (DPS). This prestigious designation is awarded to communities that demonstrate a strong commitment to enhancing public safety and supporting law enforcement.
The Missouri Blue Shield Program was established in January 2025 by Governor Mike Kehoe through Executive Order 25-03.
