(COLUMBIA, MO) ~ Columbia Sewer Utility Holds Meeting to Discuss Proposed Sewer Extension
The City of Columbia Sewer Utility has announced an upcoming meeting to discuss the proposed Henderson Branch Sewer Extension to the Midway area. The meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, Jan. 22 from 5:30 - 6:30 p.m. at City Hall in Conference Room 1A/1B.
According to preliminary concepts, the project would involve constructing approximately 8,600 linear feet of sewer pipe near N. Highway UU, W. Sugar Creek Drive, and W. Van Horn Tavern Road. This would allow adjacent properties to connect to the City's public sanitary sewer and eliminate the need for two private treatment facilities that are currently discharging into Henderson Branch and Perche Creek.
