(COLUMBIA, MO) ~ Columbia, MO - The City of Columbia is inviting residents, business owners, and travelers who use the Business Loop to attend a public meeting for the Business Loop Road Safety Audit (RSA). The meeting will take place on Thursday, Oct. 9 from 5-7 p.m. at the Boone Electric Cooperative Community Building located at 1413 Rangeline St. A presentation will begin promptly at 5:30 p.m.

This meeting serves as an opportunity for members of the community to provide feedback on travel safety and accessibility along the Business Loop corridor between Stadium Boulevard and Eastland Circle. The City of Columbia has partnered with CBB Transportation Engineers + Planners, a St. Louis-based transportation engineering firm, to conduct a comprehensive Road Safety Audit of the corridor.

Residents, commuters, and business owners are encouraged to share their perspectives on challenges they face while using the Business Loop. This can include difficulties crossing the street, getting children to and from school, navigating lanes and signals, using mobility devices, or biking to work. The input collected during this meeting will help guide recommendations to make the Business Loop safer and more accessible for everyone.
