(COLUMBIA, MO) ~ Columbia Police responded to a shooting in the early hours of February 2nd on South Bethel Church Road. A male juvenile was found with a gunshot wound and was transported to a local hospital for treatment. The injury is reported to be non-life-threatening. According to authorities, there was no criminal intent involved in the shooting.
The suspect, 32-year-old Dalton Isom of Columbia, was arrested at the scene and charged with tampering with physical evidence and first-degree endangering the welfare of a child. The investigation is ongoing and anyone with information is urged to contact the Columbia Police Department or CrimeStoppers.
