(COLUMBIA, MO) ~ Columbia Police responded to a shooting on the evening of May 15 in the 4600 block of Rice Road. According to reports, officers arrived at the scene around 6 p.m. and found a juvenile victim with a gunshot wound. The victim was immediately transported to a nearby hospital via ambulance and is currently being treated for non-life threatening injuries.
Upon arrival, detectives and crime scene investigators began their investigation and are actively working to gather more information about the incident. As of now, there is no available information on any suspects involved.
