(COLUMBIA, MO) ~ Columbia Police Department Seeks Public's Help in Ongoing Investigations
The Columbia Police Department is reaching out to the public for assistance in providing information regarding several ongoing investigations from July 6. The department is urging anyone with information about these incidents to come forward and contact them at 573.874.7652.
According to reports, there have been multiple incidents of shots fired on July 6 in different locations around the city. The first incident occurred at approximately 6:35 p.m. on Wilkes Boulevard, where officers responded to reports of shots fired in the 500 block. Witnesses stated that shots were fired from a black vehicle and property damage was reported. Fortunately, no injuries were reported in this incident.

The second incident took place at around 6:55 p.m. on Trimble Road, where officers responded to reports of shots fired in the 2600 block. Witnesses stated that shots were fired but no injuries or property damage were reported.
In both cases, witnesses described the suspects as two Black males in a black passenger vehicle.
The third incident occurred at approximately 11:15 p.m. on Falling Leaf Lane, where officers responded to reports of shots fired in the 3300 block. Witnesses stated that shots were fired but again, no injuries or property damage were reported.
In this case, witnesses described the suspect as a Black male in a black passenger vehicle.
To provide information without revealing their identity, individuals can call CrimeStoppers at 573.875.TIPS (8477) and remain anonymous.
