(COLUMBIA, MO) ~ Columbia Police responded to reports of shots fired in the 3900 block of Clark Lane on July 31 at approximately 3:05 p.m. According to authorities, a male juvenile and a female juvenile were involved in a physical altercation that resulted in a single gunshot being fired. Both juveniles sustained minor injuries, with one being transported to the hospital for a non-life-threatening gunshot wound.

The incident has led to the arrest of one juvenile on the charge of fourth-degree domestic assault. However, police have assured that there is no ongoing threat to the community.
