(COLUMBIA, MO) -

At approximately 8 p.m. on Aug. 8, Columbia Police responded to a vehicle collision with a pedestrian in the 4600 block of Paris Road.

A vehicle traveling southbound on Paris Road (Route B) struck Tristen Crawford, 24, of Columbia, who was in the roadway. Crawford was taken by ambulance to a local hospital, where he died from injuries sustained in the collision. Next of kin have been notified.
