(COLUMBIA, MO) ~ Columbia Police have made an arrest in connection to a shooting that occurred on July 10 in the 200 block of Lincoln Drive. According to authorities, 18-year-old Jeremiah Johnson of Columbia has been taken into custody and is facing charges of first-degree assault, armed criminal action, and unlawful use of a weapon.
The incident took place at approximately 1:04 a.m. when officers responded to reports of shots fired in the area. Upon arrival, they discovered an adult male victim with gunshot wounds. The victim was immediately transported to a local hospital for treatment of serious injuries sustained in the shooting.
