(COLUMBIA, MO) ~ Columbia Police have made an arrest in connection with a recent burglary at a business on Paris Road. Casey Rushin, 31, of Columbia, was taken into custody on August 11th and is facing charges of second-degree burglary, felony stealing, and first-degree property damage.

The incident occurred on August 9th around 2 a.m., when officers responded to a report of a shattered glass door and scattered merchandise at the business. The estimated value of the stolen items is approximately $50,000.

Thanks to the use of Flock Safety cameras, detectives were able to identify Rushin's vehicle and link it to the crime. The investigation is ongoing and anyone with information is urged to contact the Columbia Police Department or CrimeStoppers.

According to Missouri statutes, Rushin could face charges for property damage in the first degree, burglary in the second degree, and stealing. CrimeStoppers is offering a cash reward of up to $2,500 for any information that leads to an arrest in this case.
