(COLUMBIA, MO) ~ Columbia Police responded to an armed robbery on April 9th in the 1400 block of Range Line Street. The victim reported that as he was leaving a business and heading towards his vehicle, he was approached by a man who brandished a weapon and demanded money. The suspect was identified as Gerion Young, 26, of Columbia, through the investigation conducted by police detectives. On April 15th, Young was arrested on charges of first-degree robbery, unlawful use of a weapon, and armed criminal action.
