(COLUMBIA, MO) ~ Columbia Police have made an arrest in connection to a series of armed robberies that occurred in the city. 19-year-old Isaiah Anderson, a resident of Columbia, was taken into custody for an armed robbery that took place on April 15 at a business located in the 5600 block of East St Charles Road.
According to police reports, Anderson entered the establishment and brandished a weapon while demanding cash from an employee. He then fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of money. However, approximately an hour later, he was apprehended by Columbia Police at his residence in the 4800 block of Clark Lane.

Anderson has been charged with first-degree robbery, unlawful use of a weapon, and armed criminal action. Further investigations by detectives led to probable cause for his involvement in three other commercial armed robberies that took place on June 9, 2023; March 21, 2024; and April 2, 2024. These incidents occurred in the 5600 block of East St Charles Road, the 3000 block of Paris Road, and the 2000 block of Paris Road respectively.
The Columbia Police Department expressed their gratitude towards citizens who provided crucial information that led to Anderson's arrest. The investigation is still ongoing and anyone with information is urged to contact the department or CrimeStoppers to remain anonymous. The case numbers for these incidents are listed as 2024-003143, 2023-005278, 2024-002373, and 2024-002707.
