(COLUMBIA, MO) ~ Columbia Police officers have made an arrest in connection to a domestic assault that occurred on June 8. Jesse Allen Jones, 38, of Centralia, was taken into custody on June 10 in Hallsville and charged with first-degree domestic assault.

The incident took place at the intersection of West Broadway and Anderson Avenue in Columbia, where officers responded to a call for a domestic assault. The victim, an adult female, sustained serious injuries and was transported to a local hospital by ambulance.
